A desire burns in you.

It stays omnipresent in your mind until it can be fulfilled.

That desire? To have the answers to all of your problems.

But there’s a roadblock.

Between you, and everything you could ever want in life, is the one skill that every exceptional person I’ve met or studied has.

What is this skill?

The ability to ask high quality questions.

The most commonly asked questions I get on a daily basis are:

  1. How do I stay focused?

  2. How do I stop being depressed?

  3. What’s the meaning to life?

  4. Why am I so undisciplined?

I’m going to be completely honest.

If this is the maximum depth your questions go, you’re going to have a tough time intriguing your brain to the point where it finds the right place to search for the best answers.

And you’re going to have a much harder time getting what you want out of life.

Within every question is an opportunity to extract a more profound desire that was previously inaccesible.

For example:

If, instead of asking, “How do I stay focused?”, you asked:

  • Why isn’t this task simulating enough to keep me locked into it?

  • What are the main culprits that divert my attention?

  • What are the main reasons for me to stay focused on this task?

  • Are those reasons strong enough?

  • Are the consequences of not staying focused on this task strong enough?

  • What activities do I do that are the easiest to stay focused on? And how can I replicate the attributes of that activity on the tasks that are hardest to stay focused on?

You’d peel back each layer of the problem, and get the answer that solves the root of the issue once and for all.

This also applies to information and advice you want to get from others.

The amount to which you know people’s true intentions, vulnerabilities, and reasons for doing what they do depends on the quality and depth of questions you are able to ask.

So the next time you’re about to ask yourself another superficial question, do the practice I did above with the bullet points.

  1. Start with the most basic question.

  2. Create a subset of deeper questions below it.

  3. Extract the highest quality questions from that subset.

This will train your brain to start plunging into every other shallow question you’re usually inclined to ask, and dissect a more profound realization from it.

All of your problems have solutions.

And to find them, you just need to have access to the right questions.

How To Do This More Easily

Here’s the thing:

If you don’t have other people encouraging you to stay consistent with asking the right questions, or to bounce your questions off of to exchange ideas, it’s going to be very hard to do this at first.

Because exceptional people who already possess this skill will allow you to acquire this skill naturally.

Imagine you were part of a community like that.

A community that held you accountable for getting better, and gave you the resources you needed to fully understand who you are, and what questions you needed to ask to reach your ideal life.

Kind of like a school, but for self improvement.

I wanted to make this into a reality.

And that is why I created my Self Mastery School.

The Self Mastery School is a place for those who want to actualize their greatest potential, strengthen their self awareness, build better habits, and develop a fulfilling life.

When you join the school, you’ll get access to:

  • Full length courses/eBooks

  • Weekly coaching calls and lectures (related to self-awareness, making money online, social skills, etc.)

  • An exclusive community of ambitious, open-minded people

  • In person meetups (coming soon)

Being able to actually apply the advice you receive, and get consistent feedback from like-minded people are the two most important factors in seeing permanent change.

And I’m guessing you feel like you can’t talk to anyone in real life about self-improvement, right?

The friendships in there feel genuine.

And I have a feeling you’re going to find your tribe in there, too.

Here's some wins from our community:

If you're ready to join our community, and finally have that rare group of inspiring people you’ve been struggling to find in real life, click the button below.

I’ll see you in there.
